Ongole: The Andhra Pradesh government is set to launch the Government Local Home Appliances Services App to provide affordable doorstep repair and household services. The initiative aims to make home maintenance and appliance repair services more accessible through registered servicemen across multiple trades.

📱 Fast-Tracking Digital Home Services

The project is progressing rapidly, and the home services app is expected to be available soon. The Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA) has collaborated with Home Triangle, a Hyderabad-based agency, to provide technical training and support to the service providers registered on the app.

This initiative will ensure that citizens can access trusted and verified professionals for a variety of household services at affordable government-fixed rates with just a phone call.

🎓 Training for Service Providers

P. Srihari, Project Director (PD), Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA), confirmed that training has been provided to service providers in electricity, plumbing, AC servicing, geysers, grinders, mixers, carpentry, and beauty services. The training was conducted at KK Computers premises in Ongole.

The app will allow skilled workers to earn up to ₹15,000 per month while ensuring seamless service booking and timely delivery for customers.
